These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the KBD Scooter mobile application and scooter rental services. By creating an account, starting a ride, or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be legally allowed to rent and operate a scooter in the location where the service is used. You are responsible for complying with local traffic, parking, safety, and licensing rules.
Account
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure. You must not share your account, payment method, verification documents, or login credentials with another person.
Rental Rules
- Inspect the scooter before riding and do not start or continue a ride if the scooter appears unsafe.
- Use the scooter responsibly and only in permitted areas.
- Do not tamper with, damage, disable, or misuse the scooter or app.
- Follow parking instructions and park only in allowed parking zones when required.
- Return the scooter in the condition in which it was rented, except for ordinary wear from proper use.
Payments and Charges
You agree to pay all fees shown in the app or otherwise applied to your rental, including ride packages, overtime, penalties, unpaid debts, damage costs, repair costs, and other applicable service charges.
Some charges may be processed automatically using your saved payment method. If a payment fails, KBD Scooter may retry payment, record debt on your account, restrict future rentals, or request payment after ride completion.
Overtime, Restricted Zones, and Blocking
If your paid ride time expires, additional time or penalty charges may apply until the scooter is parked correctly or the ride is completed. If you enter a restricted zone, fail to leave a restricted zone, or breach rental rules, the scooter may be blocked, locked, or subject to additional charges.
Ride Completion
A ride is completed only when the app and backend confirm completion. You may be required to park in an allowed zone, upload a photo, report damage, or complete payment before the ride is finalized.
Damage, Loss, and Safety
You are responsible for damage, loss, fines, penalties, towing, recovery, and claims caused by your use, misuse, illegal parking, unsafe operation, or violation of these terms. You must report accidents, damage, theft, or safety issues immediately through the app or support channel.
Service Availability
The service may be unavailable, delayed, limited, or interrupted due to maintenance, network conditions, GPS accuracy, payment provider issues, fleet availability, or operational reasons.
Notifications
KBD Scooter may send operational messages and push notifications related to your ride, account, zones, payments, safety, maintenance, and service updates.
Termination and Restrictions
KBD Scooter may suspend or restrict access to the service if you violate these terms, fail to pay amounts owed, provide inaccurate information, misuse scooters, or create safety, legal, or fraud risks.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KBD Scooter is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
